Interpreting

Pricing is always a matter of negotiation and depends on the type and complexity of your project.

Typically, I charge an hourly rate with a two-hour minimum plus mileage reimbursement for in-person assignments.
Phone and video interpreting are charged per minute with a minimum of 15 minutes per session.

Please contact me at (415)734-1597 to discuss the details.

Translation, Editing, and Proofreading

Each project is unique, and there are many factors determining translation cost, such as the word count, document complexity, and deadline.

I offer per-word rates based on the document word count. One page includes 250 words, or 1800 characters with spaces.

I work with standard Microsoft-released software, such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, as well as various CAT tools, such as Trados, WordFast, MemSource, and memoQ. Other software is available upon request.

Urgent requests

I strive to provide my clients with excellent service quickly and efficiently.
Please keep in mind that additional charge for urgent projects might apply.

Formatting

There is a 20% surcharge for processing handwritten documents.

Certified and Notarized Translations and Apostille

I gladly certify my own translations and provide Certificate of Translation (Translator’s Affidavit).

I also have a notary available in San Francisco to notarize the translation if you require it. Standard notary fee per signature in California is $15.
